This work is directed against Isaac Jacquelot, Dissertations sur le Messie, The Hague, 1699. For the copyist, a well-known Sephardic calligrapher in Amsterdam cf. Da Silva Rosa, Geschiedenis, pp. 102, 103, where he is mentioned as Jacob Gadelha.
