Abraham b. Daniel Delaville (1801-1877) worked as a teacher at the Nederlands Israëlitisch Seminarium in Amsterdam, he was head of the Hebrew department there, poet on occasion and one of the last members of the To’elet society for the study of the Hebrew language and literature.
