The Spanish translation of the original Hebrew work was made by Isaac Athias, rabbi of Hamburg, in 1621. Several other versions of the very popular work repose in this and other collections, cf. EH 48 D 05.

The original Hebrew text appeared in Amsterdam, 1705. Belonged to the collection of Ets Haim Library at the end of the 19th century.
