Israel Athias was rabbi of the Sephardic congregation in Amsterdam and died 16 Adar I 5513 (March 22nd, 1753). The capitals in de title are certainly meant to give the date when the obituary was delivered, because the first capitals give VII ADAR SENI, but the date of the year is incomprehensible.
